Sixpence None The Richer have shared ‘We Are Love’, marking the first new song with the group’s original line-up in 20 years.
The song is the first offering from a new EP from the US alt-rock band, who are best known for their singles ‘Kiss Me’ (1998) and ‘Breathe Your Name’ (2002). Their new EP ‘Rosemary Hill’ is set for release on October 4 via Flatiron. You can pre-order it here.
Featuring a twangy acoustic guitar paired with thunderous harmonies and sharp electric guitar riffs, “We Are Love” sees frontwoman Leigh Nash sing: “We are love, we can make it
We’re the chain you can’t break it / The long darkness had arrived / But hate here comes to sight / We are love, we can take it.”
‘Rosemary Hill’ tracklist is:
1. ‘Thread The Needle’
2. ‘Julia’
3. ‘We Are Love’
4. ‘Child And Man’
5. ‘Homeland’
6. ‘Rosemary Hill’
