Kings Of Leon announce huge London O2 show for 2027

Kings Of Leon have announced a huge show at London’s The O2 for next summer. Find ticket details below.

The Tennessee rockers will take to the arena on July 2, 2027, as part of The O2’s series of concerts celebrating 20 years since the venue opened.

It will mark their first London show since their record-breaking fifth headline date at BST Hyde Park in 2024.

Fans who pre-order Kings Of Leon’s forthcoming album ‘O My Beloved’ through the band’s UK store by 2:59pm on Tuesday (October 6) will be given access to a pre-sale beginning at 9:30am on Wednesday (October 7).

Tickets then go on general sale at 9:30am BST on Friday (October 9). Find yours here.

“London. The O2 at twenty. July 2, 2027,” the band wrote when announcing the concert on Instagram on Friday (October 2). Check out the post below.

Kings Of Leon join a growing line-up of artists taking part in The O2’s 20th anniversary celebrations. The arena opened in June 2007 and has since hosted more than 3,000 shows and welcomed over 100million visitors.

Other acts already confirmed for the anniversary programme include David Guetta, Jorja Smith, Maisie Peters and Sombr.

The newly announced show arrives ahead of the release of Kings Of Leon’s 10th studio album, ‘O My Beloved’, on November 6 via Love Tap Records.

The record follows 2024’s ‘Can We Please Have Fun’ and is described as one of the band’s most intimate and reflective releases, looking back over their families, childhoods and more than two decades together.

“We have already surpassed anything we ever imagined we could do, and we’ve built something that is so special,” Caleb Followill said when the album was announced.

“I thought, wouldn’t it be beautiful to make an album that is looking back on all of the things that we’ve done and appreciating how we got here.”

The band recently shared second single ‘Cold Blue Dawn’, accompanied by a lyric video made with The Weather Channel using satellite imagery from NASA’s Landsat programme. It followed lead track ‘My Whole World’.

Last month, Kings Of Leon also played an intimate 575-capacity show in Nashville to launch the ‘O My Beloved’ era, debuting ‘My Whole World’ live and bringing out Zach Bryan for ‘Bowery’.

‘Can We Please Have Fun’ received three stars from NME, which called it “easily KOL’s most promising, liberated record for over a decade”, albeit one that remained “surprisingly restrained in places”.

Speaking to NME around its release, Caleb said it was “the most enjoyable record I’ve ever been a part of”, while drummer Nathan Followill added: “It’s like we allowed ourselves to be musically vulnerable.”
