Catfish & The Bottlemen release rare bonus track ‘ASA’ from ‘The Balcony’ 10th anniversary reissue

Catfish and the Bottlemen have released their rare bonus track ‘ASA’ from their upcoming 10th anniversary reissue of ‘The Balcony’.

The Welsh band are preparing to commemorate a decade since their seminal debut album was released. The reissue is set to drop September 16 – pre-order yours here.

To celebrate, they dropped rare track ‘ASA’ unexpectedly today (July 18), which was originally released as the B-side to ‘Rango’ in 2013.

It sees lead singer Van McCann pining over a long-lost lover, who has “misleading tattoos / And your New York City style / And your Jackie Ryan soul”. Check out ‘ASA’ below:

Along with ‘ASA’, ‘The Balcony’ and its 10th anniversary reissue is set to feature Ewan McGregor’s cover of ‘Hourglass’, ‘Rango’ (single version) and three other bonus tracks.

Additionally, there will be a limited-edition 7″ singles box set on offer, with only 2,000 copies available to purchase.

Catfish & The Bottlemen recently played their biggest ever headline show at Liverpool’s Sefton Park, with over 32,000 fans watching the band perform classics like ‘Homesick’ and ‘Cocoon’.

The band were also joined by The Mysterines and Sundara Karma as their support acts.

The huge concert also comes ahead of their slot at Reading and Leeds later this August, along with two dates at Cardiff Castle on July 19 & 20, an Edinburgh Summer Sessions on August 24 and a slot at RDS Simmonscourt in Dublin on August 31.
